Kid One 2017 Krewe of Vulcan

I am so excited to have been selected as a member of the Krewe of Vulcan for Kid One Transport's Mardi Gras Masquerade event this year! I am a current member of the Kid One Transport Junior Board. I studied Finance and Marketing at the University of Alabama and am a Commercial Underwriter at Regions Bank. I volunteer at Catholic Social Services in Montgomery and I am a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Hoover. My hobbies include baseball, football, and anything outdoors as well as reading and watching sports.

The Krewe is made up of generous men and women who have committed to raise funds for Kid One. The top male and female fundraiser will be crowned King and Queen at the event on February 24, 2017. Please help me support Kid One and their wonderful mission!

The mission of Kid One Transport is to transport children and expectant mothers with limited or no means of transportation to medical care, including doctor visits, hospital visits and therapy sessions. Since 1997, Kid One has been fulfilling this mission as the only nonprofit of its kind in the state.

Kid One is committed to removing transportation as a barrier to quality health care. We strive daily to ensure that the most vulnerable and needy among us can receive the care they need regardless of their circumstances.

In 2016, Kid One provided almost 22,852 transports. That means 22,852 medical visits for children and expectant mothers who otherwise would have not received the care they needed!

With your help, we can ensure that Kid One provides vitally needed transportation to every child or expectant mother who needs medical, dental, vision, mental health/counseling, therapy, prenatal or other non-emergency medical care. Together we can build healthier children, healthier families and a healthier Alabama!
